buttons

i love buttons. i hoard them. i love finding big jars of vintage buttons at antique shops. when i see one, i have to buy it. most of the buttons are basic and boring, but there's always a few fabulous finds in every jar.

i even made a few butons during my pottery stint a couple of years ago, but none as pretty as those by laura walker. lovely!

a fresh start

hi there. sorry for the prolonged absence. i've been negligent in my duties to you, fair reader.

here's to a fresh start. since i am giving myself one, i think i might change up the blog a bit. no, i'm not going to stop bringing you all sorts of handmade goodness, i'm just going to sprinkle the blog with a little bit more me.

encore petite

oh la la! i love these little cushions by encore petite. i can see them all lined up on my couch in a cute row. mind you, this is on a couch i will own in the future, as my current couch is a color somewhere in between rust and ketchup. (it's really a lovely shade, you just have to see it in person).
